Visual Art is taught to all students at Phalen Lake. Using the Core Knowledge Curriculum as a base the students experience Creating Art from at least 5 different medium, They are exposed to different Periods of Art History and connecting Cultures all over the world. By learning the Elements of Art and Principles of Design the students are able to have the skills needed to evaluate art (Art Criticism) and appreciate Art (Aesthetics).
