Welcome to the Phalen Lake
Elementary School Library! There are over 45,000 materials available to our
students and staff. The online catalog provides access to all of our
materials as well as online databases provided by the district and the
state of Minnesota.  | | Classes come into the library to study and use resources. |
Students
come to scheduled library sessions where they are able to listen to a
good story, discover new authors and learn how to locate, evaluate and
use resources in the library. Students are welcome to come to the media
center at any time during the school day.
The library is staffed full time by Mr. Liljedahl, a licensed School Library Media Specialist. Part-time library para-professionals, Mrs. Joyce Cook and Mrs. Kitty Wilfert help to keep the library open all day, every day.
